I have a rather large 14GB Quicktime MOV file. What's the best way to conver this to DVD format? I don't need a menu or anything, just straight to disk - while maintaining best quality as possible of course.

Easiest would probably be convertxtodvd (trialware) or favc (free). These are almost 1-button converters, which author with simple menus.
Eitherway you will lose quite a bit of quality (I'm assuming you have a 720p or some HD type file => 720x480 (NTSC), and reducing the bitrate by 3x using a lossy codec) -
Yeah, i tried convertxtodvd but that just spat out a load of errors at me. Not tried favc though, but i'll give that a go.

If you can play your mov with Windows Media Player, you could give a try to AVStoDVD (free - open source).
