Have you tried download soundslide, http://www.soundslides.com/ (trial available) and see if you can open the project and export to some video format?

  3. That's just what I'm trying to do, I opened one of my projects, but I can't figure out what the file endings mean.

Found this as desciption for the file extension:

    http://www.wotsit.org/list.asp?search=ssl&button=GO%21

EDIT: Forget about the file extension. The search was catched on losSSLess.
"Corel Flow Smart Libraby" is mentioned somewhere else and Borland also seems to use the extension.

The site says: Soundslides exports Adobe Flash files (SWF). Perhaps you can convert this to mpeg2 for DVD ?
If the trial allows to export this would be the easiest.
