I have been having a problem with playback of svcd discs on my dvd player. These mpg files are already encoded when I burn them, I use either nero 5.5.6 or win on cd 5.0 to burn the svcd's.(MPEG-2 480x480 29.97fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 192kbps)

During playback there are intermittant breaks in the video/audio, not realy sure which is the problem. the sounds kind of pauses and the video pauses for a split second, some discs only do these occassionally and that is ok but others do it more often and is very difficult to enjoy the movie.


I'm playing theses discs on my JVC XV-S62 dvd player.(same as xv-s65gd, just sivler model)

Can any one offer any advice as to what I could do to correct this problem? any help would be greatly appreciated.
