I have a vob file which I would like to edit and save as an avi clip. (no, no don't worry it's not some video of me and a 14 year old girl.....) When I load the file into vdub, even before I start editing or do anything to the file, the audio is off by a second or two. When I play the vob file on it's own through videolan everything matches up perfectly, but when I load that same file into virtualdub the aforementioned problem arises. Does anyone know a solution? Thanks.

  2. If the audio is off by a constant amount throughout the video use the audio skew function. Audio -> Interleaving -> Audio Skew Correction.

Ahhh thanks for the tip! I am going to store that away for future use. In the meantime another workaround I am playing with is in TMPGEnc. I am making a divx file using that program, so I am utilizing the audiogap correction that program provides, that looks to have done the trick!
