    Everyone sorry guys i dont know if this question has been asked before,
    Is it possible to watch dvd movie in power point,How?
    anyone with step by step instructions what to do for that.
    any input would be appreciated.thanks in advance.

    Not sure why you would want to. PPT was not made for this. Its for slide shows. So if you want to use PPT to show off your pictures then that should be fine.

    Try one of the free players available to watch DVDs on your computer. MPC or VLC Media Player as an example.

    I doubt that pp can open a dvd with all menus and such. Maybe it can play the vob file if you have mpeg2 decoder installed like ffdshow.

    I'd assume that if you could insert a video as an object into a PP slide, then you could view it. But again, that begs the question - why would you want to use PowerPoint to play a DVD? Better to use an actual software player capable of handling DVDs, like VLC, as mentioned earlier in this thread.
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
