  1. I am starting to burn a lot of VCD's, SVCDS and especially home video editing. I would like to keep the jewel cases looking the same so I have decided to go w/ the DVD look. Now, SVCD's generally uses at least a couple of CD's if not three.

Does any one know a good site that sells the inexpensive Double DVD cases or similar items?

Finally, what is everybodu else doing to store their SVCD's in the entertainment center? Regular jewel cases? [/b]

  2. Use Fellows CD Sleaves. You can get 50 double sided sleaves for $5 online (use pricegrabber). You can fit 1 movie in 1 sleave.

    CD Sleave:
Advantage: soft felt backing to wipe away fingerprints, small footprint (fits in folders, back pockets, etc), fairly inexpensive ($0.10 per sleave), durable (doesn't break or rip easily), snuggly holds 2 cdrs perfect for 1 movie.

Disadvantage: small area to put graphics (you can slide in a print out of the title at the top of the sleave).

Solution for small label area: print out cdr disc labels to stick on the cdr itself.

    CD Cases/DVD Keep Cases:
Advantage: looks like a retail product, big area for sliding in graphic covers.

Disadvantage: expensive (especially for 2-3 disc holders ~$2+ for 1 case), easily cracks, center part disc holder chips/breaks if dropped.

  3. I use those cd cases that hold 3 cd's. They do alright. Do a search on yahoo and you'll find plenty of places selling them. Also check on Ebay.[/b]

  6. I really like these:

Imation 700MB with Thin Jewel cases (and cases are what we are talking about); usually about $10 for a 25-pack. They burn great in my Philips PCRW2010. You can get the boxes separately, but they actually cost more that way. I could probably find them cheaper, but Best Buy never did me wrong on a mail order yet.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
