  1. I have no luck......ok, Im using the textsub filter to overlay subs on vdub.......and I got it to work and came out with a nice little .avi with subs and sound and all that. However, now I cannot get vdub to apply the subs on another file. They are exactly the same file type, both .ass.

    Any idea what im doing wrong?

  3. nope.....just they dont show up in the preview windo like they did the last time.....its like the filter isnt even there...even though the subs show up on the filter list after I add it.

    Do the subs appear when you playback the .MKVs in WMP or MPC?
    If they don't, maybe they just don't match the video resolution.
    I still think Aegisub would be worth a try, especially if you
    don't have any interest in editing .SSA files via Notepad.
