Is it possible to add multiple images to a single audio file (e.g. mp3, m4a, etc) at specified points so that as the audio file plays (say on an iPod) different images will appear as the file plays?
I downloaded a Podcast from iTunes (.m4a) that does this, so I know that at least it is possible in priciple.
Thanks.

That's fine. What I'm interested in is whether it can be done in any format by whatever means. That wasn't clear in my original post. Sorry.

 most editors can handle this
