This has been asked countless times before. Please try doing a forum search before asking questions.

But to answer your question, yes there is a way but its not at all practical. There are programs available which can convert an avi file to a str file which can be played on the playstation. Normally it requires some programming to load the STR file but since you have a game enhancer you would probably be able to execute the file through that.

The quality of a disk authored like this would be extremely bad and nowhere near as good as a vcd. The compression is also bad and a typical movie would probably take 5 cdrs minimum. Playing movies like this will also shorten the life of your psx laser since it is not designed to spin continuously for 2+ hrs. I'd suggest either buying the vcd addon or buying a dvd player.

  3. i have been mucking around with putting nes games master system games mpegs etc on playstation well the results of the mpeg files were better than expected the were minimal diferences between a true vcd and an mpeg in playstation format althougt the process is quite time consuming and frustrating i have only tried a few trailers and the quality was great but yeah id have to agree with adam on the laser not being designed for continous playing of movies but it is great to be able to play 1943.Mario Bros, california games,Ghost and goblins etc on the playstation know if i could only put mame roms on to psx life would truly be great

  4. You can try going to this web site. They have alot of utilities for Gaming consoles, I can now watch "South Park The Movie" on my Dreamcast. Trust me the picture quality isn't that great, a Playstation would be even worst. But if you want to look at this site here it is: http://www.megagames.com/console/console.shtml
