  1. A few weeks back I copied, with Nero, a 3 disc SVCD of Training Day which was 800MB per disc to a 700MB Disc and it plays fine in my Pioneer DV-C503 5 disc Changer, I do not know what I did but it allowed me to copy the disc from a copy from a friend. Now I want to make a copy for my friend and Nero crashes out when it hits 99% of reading the SVCD. I have no idea how it allowed me to copy the 800MB sized Disc onto a 700MB Blank. Isn't there something called "overburn" where it allows you to eek past the 700MB Barrier into the territory I went? Can anyone help me? I would like to make a copy for him and an going nuts on how to do it.

Overburn is set-up in the Nero Preferences area. Check through all the tabs and you'll find it.

I dont know how Nero did it but i can tell you how to set the overburn function. In nero chose FILE, Preferences,Expert Features, here you can set the overburn limit. Beware, make sure your burner can do it. in the general tab you can reset the red andyellow markers for 74 and 80 min CD's.
    Happy burning 8)

  4. it hasn't very important how big the filesize is, only the MAX of the MAXes is 800 mb's.. more important is the time..

for an SVCD the maximum is 60 minutes on a 80 min CD-r.

Yes, you can try to turn on the overburn "switch", but do remember, this is not recomended, because if you push your burner to far, you could "fry" the burner....

    be careful...
