I am capturing HD video from a SONY fx1 into Final Cut Pro. I used to be able to drag captured footage onto the timeline and play it immediately. Now suddenly, when I drag a clip onto the timeline, I have to render the footage before being able to view it. The settings had recently been changed to accommodate DV. Does anyone know what setting I have not re-set so that I do not have to render footage each time I drag it onto the timeline?
