I'm trying to capture me playing on my xbox 360.
I just tried it out, and it has about a 2 second lag (so if I hit the A button 2 seconds later it will show up on the screen that I hit A) It records fine, but I have to watch it on my computer (that's just how it works) and the video and audio is very laggy.
I'm trying to figure out a way I could do this, like maybe somehow hook up my 360 to the TV and the capture thing at the same time, but I've got nothing right now.
Note, here's what I'm working with:
Normally
HDMI to TV
Optical cable to Surround sound
The card is only RCA or S-Video, so I have to use that when recording. What I would like to do is connect my 360 to the TV using HDMI (since it has audio and video), and then just use a composite cable (Red, Yellow, White, also known as RCA) from the TV Output to the recorder, and hope it works but when I try it I get nothing.
Tips?
The machine I'm using is an ADSTech DVDxpress.
