Here is my scenerio. Say I have an .TIB (True Image Backup file) on an external drive. The pc I want to put it on has a brand new just out of box hard drive installed how would I go about putting said .TIB file on to this new drive, so that it's just like my old drive before it died? Don't be afraid to add step by step process....haha...thanks

Do you have a bootable TrueImage recovery CD ?

If so, plug the external disc into the new PC, boot of the recovery CD, then use this to install the image to the new drive.

I doubt it - you usually have to create the bootable CD. I did...

  6. The original CD is bootable on version 9 at least. Thats the only one I've got that I actually ordered on CD. Just slap it in the drive and find out. No harm in trying.
