I was wondering if there's any video conversion programs out there that will convert the .evo or .m2ts files that I've ripped to hard disc, into something more friendly with video editing (.mpeg2, .vob, .TS, .avi, etc..)

I have seen some people explaining how to do it - if you want to take about 20 steps using a dozen different programs, and wait 20hrs for encoding times...

'Just wondering if there was a simple program like:

    HD INPUT FILE:
    OUTPUT FILENAME:

    type thing....

I got a reply from the VideoReDo people saying they were working on having VideoRedo accept .EVO files in a future release, but nothing as of yet.

Is there any way possible to get my ripped .EVO and .M2TS files into another format ??? (without having to use dozens of separate programs) ??

Hi. I don't have a problem with ripping - my original msg wasn't about ripping, I can do that no probs. It was about converting. (convert hd format to another format). Sorry if my wording of the original post sounded like I had a ripping problem.
