I have an interesting situation. I have a regular panasonic dvd recorder that i record all my shows. Next i have an entire Crestron system in the basement with a 400 disc dvd changer that can broadcast the dvd's on all my tv's. The changer is hooked up to a Escient Fireball device that reads all the information off of the disc and makes a menu to select what dvd/cd u want to play.
My problem is that when i burn a dvd using the dvd recorder and put it into the dvd changer it shows up as "unknown dvd" but is still able to play. What i need is a way to be able to give it a title and have it show up in the system. all retail dvd's automatically show the name/title and other information. WMP also shows those discs as unknown dvd but i have read that WMP reads this information from the internet. I know that the Escient Fireball does not access the internet for this.
All i need is a way to label the dvds so i dont have 100 unknown dvd's in my changer.
I have tried burning a copy with nero and entering ALL the information i could find but none of it has showed up.
My suggestion is to use a RW to record the videos and then bring it over to my pc and change the info and burn it to at +R. I just dont know what program to use etc...
Thanks for any help/advice
