More dvd printing probs with r200

done thousands of discs with the normal issues with the tray, now it feeds in to the correct position, catridges pass over the white markings on the tray then when it is on its way back out it just countinues right out the front of the printer, i get the message tray not set correctly, i have cleaned the rollers, have got another tray, tray feeds ok and is not slipping its just that it continuesly comes straight back out the front. i have searched thru all the epson posts on this site and others, doesnt seem to be a post that explains this, only loads about the usual need to help the tray thru manually.

I have had all sorts of problems with printers over the years and have stopped trying to fix them. Not worth my time and energy. They are cheap. Buy a new one.

I had a similar problem with My R300. I unplugged it over night and the next day it worked fine.

Mine started doing that same thing yesterday. All the way in and all the way out. Even tried a different tray.

On my 3rd or 4th R-Series (two were warranty replacements, the other was a refurb).

i also tried a new tray when it happened but was just the same, i then just gave up and bought a Canon IP4300, after a few days i reinstalled the Epson on my kids pc and would you believe that it had sprung back to life with the dvd printing, has been boing strong again for a good few months too, touch wood.
