the Dolphins, who also had their prefect season in 1972, have their worst season ever with 1 win and 15 losses.

But how I wish the Dolphins ended their season with 16 losses. Sorry, Dolphins fans, I have no bad feelings towards the Dolphins. I just happen to like things in perfect symmetry . Past perfectionists v.s. new perfectionists. A 16-0 record should be counter-balanced by a 0-16 one.

    Don't you agree?

Much more importantly, they would have gotten better draft picks with a perfectly losing season.

They still have the #1 pick though.

It would have been better if they won that game against the Pats, now that would have been something to talk about. Or even better yet if they played them last and beat them... Now THAT would have been cool.

I don't think they are going to do it, they still need to win 3 more games and considering there performance in the last few I don't think there luck is going to hold out because the odds are heavily stacked against them. If you look at the Ravens game except for the officiating they probably lost, the Philly game if you take away one of those interceptions due to a poor choice on the QB again they probably lost... Giants game... well that was just well played on both sides. All three of those games were fairly close and could have went either way.

But who is going to beat them? In the AFC, other than Indianapolis and MAYBE the Steelers, the Pats really ARE the class of the conference. In the NFC, the 2 wildcard teams and 2 divison leaders (Tampa & Seattle) just arent that good. That leaves Dallas and Green Bay. I believe Dallas will pull out of the NFC (which as a 49'ers fan, just makes my blood boil, but I digress), I just dont see Dallas (or GB for that matter) beating the Pats.

Tom Brady and Randy Moss are magic together. While they dont have the same "mystique" as Montana/Young and Jerry Rice, they play remarkably well together. Even though the last few games have been a bit rougher than normal, I dont see them losing.

Dont get me wrong. I could care less if they do. I dont care about them either way. Id like to see them do it simply for history sake as going 19-0 is a pretty amazing feat.

They may be undefeated but what we saw with the Eagles and Raven games is that they can be beaten. Neither team has a winning record yet they almost defeated the so-called greatest team in NFL history.

The Colts can be that team. They almost beat them earlier in the season. Steelers I doubt would have any chance. The Chargers also have a chance. Sure, the Patriots slaughtered them but these Chargers are a lot different from the Chargers from the beginning of the season. A team nobody is talking about is the Jaguars. They are the team I feel has the highest chance of beating the Patriots in the playoffs (especially since the game will be in Foxborough).

Someone will sooner or later and the odds say its sooner than later. If they were to play the Dolphins 19 games in row would you bet that they win every game? I wouldn't take that bet. They will lose at some point and I'm just guessing it's before or during the Super Bowl.

Undoubtedly a good team maybe even "the best ever" but that's debatable too. My biggest argument against that is look who they are playing, there divison is made up of the Dolphins, Jets and Bills. There's not a whole lot of other teams on their schedule that are really good either. On the other hand if you look back during the early-mid 90's when the Cowboys were winning they were playing the Redskins, Giants and Eagles all of which had powerhouse teams during that era. The Redskins and the Giants had Super Bowl vicotories themselves, in 88 and 92 for the Redskins and 91 for the Giants.

Its interesting that the last time the Patriots lost in the regular season was last December against the Dolphins. They lost 21-0.

And the Giants, Redskins and the Cowboys, all in the same division, are in the playoffs this year.
