  1. HI:

I have the RJtech1500 II for almost 3 years now. But a couple of weeks ago it began to show a malfunction on audio. Everything (and I mean everything, from original DVDs and CDs to MP3, VCDs, DivX, etc) sounds like a ruined speaker. I changed the TV set (so TV speakers are ok), the cables (diff. cables, so cables are ok), the connections (from the recommend stereo RCA connection to front speakers RCA connection, etc). Sounds got crappy anyway you connect teh device.
I do not know what it could be. Maybe a simple thing, maybe the audio chip is corrupted.
Anybody out there have a clue?
To send the machine to a Service Agent is not an option since to buy another machine will cost the same.

It sounds like you've changed all of the external hardware including the cables. Your only other option would be to try a different output (if the player has other audio outputs).

Otherwise, it's time for a replacement.
