    does anyone know an other alternative to ratdvd. it should convert dvd to any mpeg4 with menus.

    any tool that does that?

    TDA 3 can author as .divx (which includes menu support). Unfortunately, there are not that many players (nether hard nor software) out there that fully support this format.
