Just bought a LG DR787T DVD recorder and have a problem with the Timeslip function while using a RAM disc. The timeslip function works while recording something that was started by pressing the rec. button BUT if I try to use the timeslip during a recording that was started by timer I get the little red circle thing that means the function is not available. The manual makes no distinction about the timeslip feature pertaining to this. Kind of a stupid limitation of this feature so I was wondering if this is a flaw with my unit or all of them are like this. Anybody know? Thanks for any info,
Simplesmn

Took this unit back. Got a Panasonic that does a better job at timeslip/chaseplaying. I guess nobody else has one of those LG units.
