I have a Springsteen dvd (not official) I downloaded from DIME:
Über Series Volume 28 / Uber Series DVD VOlume 3
Title: The Lost 1993 TV Special
Date: 1993-05-28 Stockholm Stadion, Stockholm, Sweden
(tracks marked with "*" 1993-05-22 National Bowl, Milton Keynes, UK)
Format: 2 DVD9/dual layer's
Video format: PAL 16:9 Widescreen
The problem is when I burn it to dvd. I get sound only from one speaker! I am pretty sure that it is a stereo dvd since it is from a pro shot source. I used Nero 6 ultra to burn dvd.Can anyone plese help me with this issue. Is there an adjustment I need to make on nero to get sound from both speakers? Any advice would be appreiated.

If you downloaded it as a DVD structure, try burning with Imgburn, although neither Nero or Imgburn should affect the audio in anyway if you are burning this simply as a DVD video. If you used Nero to create menus etc then it may well have re-encoded and changed things.
That said, most posts here to do with downloaded DVD structures seem to indicate that for the most part they are created by monkeys, and stupid monkeys at that, so the quality of the encoding and authoring tend to be on the dubious side of OK. I suspect that what you are getting is what you have.Read my blog here.
