Are you converting to a dvd-video? Then just try something else like favc, dvdflick or convertxtodvd.

Or are you just burning the avi files on a dvd/cd?

Drop one of the burned files into Gspot 2.70 and see what it says about your video. Compare it with the file before burning. Several possibilities, either it didn't burn the audio or the audio ended up in a format you can't read or the audio was messed up when downloaded. What device are you playing them back on?

Software players can ignore some corruption or some missing frames in your audio/video files. But a Divx set top player may have issues with damaged files. If you have all the video and audio in the original files, you might try running them through VirtualDub and saving them out with 'Direct stream copy'. That sometimes fixes them if the problems are minor. Or re-encode them with 'Full processing' and see if that helps.

    And welcome to our forums.
