    Hi,
I have trouble setting subtitles color correctly in ConvertXtoDVD. Everything is ok, policy, size, but color don't set itself. Do anyone else have experienced such a problem ? Or maybe do you have another program I could use to burn my mpeg with subtitles to be readable in a DVD? thank you

  2. Older versions did not have this support, make sure you update to the newest version.

settings => subtitles => text subtitles rendering settings

Thank you for the detailed picture.
That's exactly what I do, but when I play the dvd on my dvd player, subtitles is white, instead of pale yellow that I select. I have try 3 times, different way, with the same result.

  4. So change them in PGCEdit when done. Open the DVD, double-click the video, and in the new screen change them to whatever you like. OK back to the main screen, save, and test.

I'll try this, thank you! I hope I will not have to do the 1400 lines separately. They will stay in white if so :P

  6. No, after you double-click the video and see the new screen, among the things there will be the CLUT (Color LookUp Table), a 4x4 block of colors. If your subs are white, one of the blocks - one probably in the top row - will be white. Click on it and choose a different color. OK back to the main screen, save, and test. All the subs will have been changed. If there's more than one white block, you might have to try several times, but always try the top row first.

Another way to change the color is with DVDSubEdit but I generally find PGCEdit faster and easier, unless, perhaps you have a whole bunch of white blocks from which to choose.
