Hi thanks so much for the help.. lol Now how would i know what the ifo file is? not the VOB.. ? again sorry i am very new... would that also be with any program ?

The IFO file describes the structure of the DVD. The VOB files contain video/audio/subtitles etc. If you load the IFO file then the player knows that there are multiple VOB files to play through. if you just load the VOB it plays the VOB and stops.
If you use PowerDVD or WinDVD to play your files, select Open DVD from HDD (or similar) and select the Video_TS folder. The player will work out the rest.
If you use Media Player Classic, select the IFO file and it will work out which VOBs to play.Read my blog here.
