  1. No matter how I try I cannot delete frames with vdub. It seems to delete the unwanted files and when playing the output file nothing has been deleted. What am I doing wrong here. I'm feeling pretty retarted here.

    LOL.......

OK, all you do is use the black "arrowish" keysd at the bottom to highlight the areas you WANT to DELETE. Then go to edit and choose delete frames or simply hit your delete key. Then when you save your avi or frameserve out it will render your "edited" video from the window.

  3. This is what I did: Opened file, clicked on arrowish key to start selection with first frame scrolled through found frame to end and clicked end selection, delete key, save as, gave a name, and shizamm not a damn thing changed. What is the problem.

  4. How many frames are you trying to delete?

If it is only a few chances are that they are between key frames. Virtualdub will only allow you to delete from key frame to key frame when direct stream copying. If you re-compress when you save then the edit can be frame accurate.

    Does that make sense?
