Hi, recently I started to burn anime onto DVD's to watch on tv but came across a few problems.
The anime had subtitles on them and when I burn the original files the disc works fine but then the image is too large for the TV so the subtitles appears of the screen.
So I tried resizing it then burning, this worked so that the subtitles appears on screen completely without a problem, but then the image is all squished and looks ugly compared to the orignal, so I was wondering if there is a way around this.
I generally use virtualdub then use the resize filter and then burn, but then the lines are all jagged and the anime characters looks all squished, so its ugly.

Do a search on overscan to understand more about what you're up against.

I would suggest that you use FitCD (see FulciLives' guide here) https://forum.videohelp.com/topic296341.html#1487285

Good luck!In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.
