Does anyone have a registered copy of NeatVideo they no longer use? I would buy it if you want to sell it.

I dont want to pay the $99 for the small project I have.

    LSchafroth,

You might wanna consider another type of of filter application process, using AVIsynth
and its scripting capabilities. Plus, new filter/plugins are being developed regularly and
all around the internet. Sometimes in these situations, you have to consider the other
alterntative. Its not that bad, really.

I can't give you any scripting (filter/plugin) suggestions because you did not demonstrate
any of your video's image problems, yet. And there are many members here that have
greater knowledge in the building of avisynth's filter-chaining scripts. I myself am working
on various image processing algorithms, though not AVIsynth applicable

But if you post some pics of your video (in a new topic) some of the avisynth guru's here
(or elsewhere) might come up with some good scripting scenarios.

  3. Yeah their price for a license is way too high. I myself, wanted to buy a license but I've given up.

It's so sad great tools like this will never make their place in this world due to bad marketing practices.

avisynth would be the best option I guess or maybe the NR filter from msu although it's not as advanced as this neat video filter...that's for certain

Let's pray Msu improve its one one day

Have you asked in the neat's official forum? although i'm not sure it would be the best place to ask someone if he sell his license lol

$99 is actually pretty cheap for software (or a plug-in)

I found a site that was having a contest on filtering bad footage and they gave a matrix for their General Convolution 3D filter in VirtualDub and with it and a few other filters I was able to produce some pretty darn good results!!

Who needs a $99 filter when the free ones can be tweaked to do almost the same.

    Thanks guys....

  6. I didn't even pay for mine!

You are in breach of the forum rules and are being issued with a formal warning. Admitting to use commercial software without paying for the license = advocating warez in my book.

After a lot of trial and error I was able to get p[retty darn good results with Convolution3d and Dot Crawl and etc.

I finally broke down and tried DeSpot with AVISynth and after about 3 hours of experimenting I got 90% of all the horizontal white lines removed from my film.

You don't need the Pro version, buy the $49 Home version. Even better.
