Trouble with Divx --> MPG (TMPG)

I followed the Divx to MPG instructions listed in the conversion section of the page, but my Divx of "A Beautiful Mind" came out with only the audio. I have previously converted and successfully burned 'Black Hawk Down' yesterday, but no luck with 'A Mind'. I can view/play the file fine on my computer, but when it gets into TMPG, the preview and end result both come up with just audio and a black screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hi Redemption,

Try the following:

Goto Option->Environmental setting, then to the VFAPI plug-in tab, select 'DirectShow Multi-media File Reader', and then right click to select the option 'Higher priority' (may need to do this a couple of times until DirectShow becomes the top priority!).

I encountered the same problem after installing a newer version of TMPEGEnc, and came across an e-mail that suggested this solution. After applying it, everything was fine again.
