    the ISDB digital broadcast standard?

    I wanna know too.
    It will take a long time to be available here, but I want it.
    ISDB is based on DVB, right? Dunno if a DVB card would be able to record it.
    Also the brazilian system will have some differences from the japanese system, so I think it will be harder to identify a card that would work without issues. :/

    Do you have any tv service providers that offer high def dvr's? That would be one option. As far as a computer alternative you would have to do more indepth online research. Good luck.
