Hi all!
I need a commandline tool for turning a stillpicture and a soundfile into a backround.vob to use with dvdauthor when producing a video-dvd. Anyone know of such a creature?![]()

https://forum.videohelp.com/topic338311.html will get you an mpeg elementary or programme stream, which is most of the way there. You should be able to use DVD Author or Muxman from the command line to turn this into a VOB.
Read my blog here.

I use Mpeg Video Wizard DVD to do this. You can import sound and make a JPEG clip, by copy and paste, as long as sound file to produce menu.
Or if you use DVD Lab for authoring it will automatically create menu from still picture that last as long as sound.
