video card problem?

Hello
I had couple of times in the past 3 days some problem related to the graphic card maybe. When I watch some movie or some tv series, my computer suddenly freezes and then restarts.
After the computer restarted I get the safe move resolution of the desktop, like I would not have a graphic card...
Any ideas about this problem?

Tried reinstall the video card drivers?

Or maybe an overheating problem, check the fan on the graphic card (if any), it may have jammed. But then it should also freeze if play games for example.

I haven't reistaled the drivers. The thing is that after I shutdown the computer for couple of minutes I get the corect screen, but if I try to restart fast then I will get the same safe mode resolution.

Try reseating the card after you have turned system off and removed power .

Could also be related to issue with psu unit if gpu is fine .
