Apparently, according to a DVD duplication company, all of my master DVD's I sent to them are multitrack DVD's
They need single track DVD, they suggested I burn my DVD's using DAO options.
We'll I've double checked this and it turns out that NERO has been writing with DAO enabled.
SO my question is why am I coming out with multitrack DVD?
how can I get it so that my duplication company will accept it?

Hmmm...interesting.
They are DVD Video you are trying to have duplicated right?
I use Prassi Ones to burn and the software always tells me/warns me when I have the settings wrong when burning DVD's....then corrects my mistake.
Because Pz can manage 5 different types of DVD recordable media, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, and DVD-RAM, and because a disc can usually be written in “Disc at Once” or “Incremental” mode, there could be 10 potential possible combinations of medium type and recording mode. We consider 3 of these impossible though, and we also set some other limitations to keep all these modes under control and too maximize the reader compatibility. Please check below the 7 combinations that ONES considers legal.
DVD-R At Once
Only blank disc, always closed.
DVD-R Incremental
Blank or Incr. disc, closed or not closed. Link or Not the data already on disc (if not blank).
DVD-RW At Once
Only blank disc, always closed (DVD-R compatibility mode).
DVD-RW Incremental
Blank or Incr. disc, always not closed. Always link data already on non-blank disc (ONES uses the Restricted Overwrite method).
DVD+R At Once
Not possible.
DVD+R Incremental
Blank or Incr. disc, closed or not closed. Short or Long Lead-out if closed. Link or Not the data already on disc (if not blank). Always record, no test.
DVD+RW At Once
Not possible.
DVD+RW Incremental
Blank or Incr. disc, always not closed. Always link data already on non-blank disc. Always record, no test.
DVD-RAM At Once
Only blank disc, always closed (DVD-R compatibility mode).
DVD-RAM Incremental
Not possible. -
yeah, it is DVD video
I even sent them 2 different sets of discs.
1 set I created and burned using Sony DVD Arch. 3.0
Then the second using Nero 7
Both came with same results, I have been burning DVD's since 2002 and never once had a problem like this.
I'm boggled
Thanks for the help -
two questions:
1) what is the hardware you are using to burn your DVDs?
2) ever tried cdrecord?
