    -vcodec h264 "C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop\myMovie.mov"

Unless you shot in progressive your video will be interlaced. It is by default. There is a deinterlace option you could do but there is no interlace...as far as I know.

I don't get it. How do you know your video is not interlaced? As long as you didn't deinterlace it then it still is interlaced and when you convert it to h264 it will remain that way.

-ilme forces interlace but I haven't tried it on h264. It is supposed to work in mpeg2 and mpeg4 only but give it a try and see what happens.

What do you need interlaced for and how do you know it is deinterlacing when you convert to a h264 mov?

actually you are correct... but I still have a problem

The file I am converting is lower field dominant
but the xported is upper field dominant..

I have found all the encoder do the same thing..

    any ideas?
