  1. My Sony 710A burner is now nearly 3 yr old and mostly does'nt burn the DVD correctly so i am thinking to get a new one. This sony burner has served me well so i am going to purhcase sony burner again.
What i want to ask that is this LightScribe technology any good? The only difference i see in 830A & 835A is this technology with a bump of around $30 in price

SONY no longer manufactures their dvd burners. They use rebadged drives which means they use other manufacturers drives such as NEC, LITEON & SAMSUNG then stamp their name on those drives.

IMHO I'd suggest you get a PIONEER 112D, LG H62N or if you want a SATA DVD Burner then get a SAMSUNG 183L (lightscribe tech) or SAMSUNG 20x S203B. I have 2 lightscribe dvd burners and don't even use them since it will take over 25 minutes to do the lightscribing. The lightscribe discs are expensive. It's a waste IMHO.

Take a look at Cdfreaks.com site, they have separate forums for dvd burners like ASUS/PIONEER, SONY/LITEON, PLEXTOR, SAMSUNG, LG, BTC, BENQ & NEC. You'll see lots of information there and feel free to join them so you can ask questions about different dvd burners. The hottest dvd burner right now is the 20X SATA SAMSUNG S203B drive. It can burn discs at 16x -18x without any freezing when playing back on the standalone dvd players that I have. It loves VERBATIM & TAIYO YUDEN dvd media.

Latest Sonys are made by NEC, and there's a long thread on the CDFreaks NEC forum about -R read problems for NEC drives. I completely agree with budz Pioneer recommendation, and I have 2 111Ds cross flashed to 111L to gain bitsetting which work very well indeed. I'd definitely avoid current Sonys regardless of which other drive you choose.
