I have noticed that when I use DVD Shrink several times without rebooting that I find that my system runs out of memory. I don't have this problem at any other time, but only when I have run DVD Shrink multiple times. Has anyone else observed this?

Yes , didn't unload from running process's , check it has exited when task completes .
If you have ctfmon.exe running as task , kill it and see how it gose .
