  1. well, i know how a forum works been on many, but i decided to post here.

I downloaded Dragonball GT episodes but the problem was they were in .rmvb format. i thought oh maybe it will work. i have the program WinAVI Video Converter and i figured maybe if i convert the file straight to DVD before i burn it. it wouldnt let me convert, said there was a problem finding the pathway to directshow.avs, there was a big hassle finding out what i was missing, so i figured downloading Real Player (real media player) will help me. Sucess! muhahah it works. but.. i once again convert them to DVD, Bingo! it works.. but will it play. i burn it to dvd, slide it into my dvd player... #^*$! I have picture.. but no friggen sound. i open the folder where it converted.. open the audio folder.. theres no audio FILES!.. i try converting to AVI before i convert to DVD before i burn.. same friggen deal. no audio files again.. is converting it trashing my audio files?.. i was reading on the net that Ac3filter will help but i have no idea what to do with it. i just want to simply convert my .RMVB files to be able to burn to a DVD..

    Any Pointers ? anything?...

please repost A.S.A.P ive been working on this thing since 3 in the afternoon.. its 11 at night now.

ConvertXtoDVD is everything WinAVI claims to be and more. There is a much better chance this will work than WinAVI. You might haver to check out the VSO ConvertXtoDVD website for converting rmvb files, but I believe the current version handles them fine.
