  2. Does TMPEG DVD AUTHOR perform css key decryption and remove macrovision as well? or does this only work for unencrypted dvds? also, any error correction?

If all 3 of these prerequsisites are not fulfilled, I question the usefulness of this guide and fervently recommend DVD DECRYPTER as it is freeware, and also has an integrated burn engine. The use of this guide requires the use of one or more retail tools (2 actually, TMPEG DVD AUTHOR obviously and some burning software similar to Nero).

    Awaiting further info,

This is only a how to make an iso from an authored dvd folder on your hd and not from an encrypted dvd. With DVD decrypter you can't select a dvd folder on your hd as source.

    Hi all,

Does TMPGEnc DVD Author make an unique big MPEG-2 file from a DVD structure at the hard disk ?

This guide says it makes an ISO file, but I wonder if it is capable of making a MPEG-2 file. Ulead Movie Factory makes it, but it doesn't read from the HD, just from DVD drives

    Thanks,

    Andre
