    Been using SVCD2DVD for some time now without any problems. I won't pretend to know anything about what goes on within the programme or about the codecs employed - just know which buttons to press to get my avi files onto dvd with some nice menus & title screen.

    Not previously had any problems, but tonight have been unable to load in one specific avi file. All others work fine, it is just this one giving me problems. When loading the asset I immediately get the error message:

    ffmpeg.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
    I was using v2.1 (I think 2474) and after a quick search through the forum saw there was a new version which I hoped might cure it. But having installed v2.5 3000 the problem persists.

    Below is the GSpot log for the troublesome avi file.

    Any help/fix would be greatly appreciated.

    Ok. What happens if you type the following at a command prompt:

    Code:
    "path to SVCD2DVD folder\ffmpeg" -i "path to file.avi"
    substituting the paths as needed?
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
