    Hi,

I really need your help. I have a wedding DVD which I would like to make a copy of. I do have Roxio DVD Builder. What do I have to do...May you give me the details or the step by step.
I heard many saying that I have to do an ISO file or something, but still I don't really get it.

I need to make a copy to DVD-R

    Thanks for your help

I doubt a Wedding video has any form of copy protection on it so you should be able to use Windows explorer to copy the file structure to your hard drive, then use ImgBurn in Build mode to write it to the DVD-R. No ISO required.

If you have full Roxio software just find option Copy DVD and let it copy. I assume the DVD is your creation and not copy protected, that is all you need to do.

This is basic Windows stuff, but I don't use XP so the interface is a little different. In general you want to open Windows Explorer and select the DVD drive. You should see at least a Video_TS folder, but may also see an Audio_TS folder. Click "Edit" then "Select All", then "Edit" and "Copy". Then create a new folder on your hard drive, (File\New\Folder) open the new folder (so there are no files listed) then click "Edit" and "Paste". This will put the DVD file structure on the hard drive in your new folder.

  10. Easiest way. No worrying about dragging and dropping or file structure. I show people who are unfamiliar how to do this all the time...

    Install IMGBurn

Place DVD to be copied in the DVD drive

Open IMGBurn and under the MODE tab, choose READ
(This will create an ISO file)

Select a destination for the ISO file
    (For simplicity, choose your desktop)

Press the sideways triangle icon which should now be green
(The program will take a few minutes to READ the ISO file to the desktop)

When finished, a jingle will play

Remove the DVD from the drive and replace with a writable disc

In IMGBurn, choose WRITE under the MODE tab

Choose the ISO file you just created as the source

Press the sideways triangle icon which should now be green
(The program will take a few minutes to WRITE the ISO file to the the DVD)

You'll hear the same jingle when finished

    DONE
