Nero 7 is making movies bigger than they should be...

Hey guys. I'm trying to burn an AVI movie onto a cd. While it is on my hard-drive the movie is 669MB. However, when I put it in Nero7, it somehow jumps to the size of 900MB and of corse Nero says that it won't fit onto the CD. Anyone know what is going on? Thanks in advance

How are you burning it ? Are you burning as data, or converting to Video CD ?

Ya I just realized that like 20min ago. I told it to burn a video cd. That converts it to a different format right? So should I just choose to make a data cd?

If your player can play avi files or you just want to keep or transfer the file then burn it as data.

If your player doesn't play avi files and you want to watch it on your TV then DVD is a better option.
