  1. any of my movies i got that use quicktime, last about a half a second then goes green , with stuttery sound and sometimes mouse lock out, ive got adobe after effects training dvds which i cant view as that uses quicktime, any one know of a fix?

  3. i downloaded quicktime from the main site, i have used quicktime alternative , i uninstalled both and tried reinstalling again same thing, i have noticed that if i run "with win 95 compatibility" it works but very grainy

    I used to have green problems once with video. I believe it was a directx issue. Do you have updated directx drivers for your video card?

    Also try vlc or mediaplayerclassic - they have built in codecs and may or may not support quicktime.
