    Looking for the simplest and fastest way to batch convert some avi's (xvid) with VBR -encoded audio, into CBR audio. I'd like to keep the video intact... no need to preserve filesize.

    I see several solutions in the forum, but I'd prefer one that doesn't require the lengthy process of re-encoding the video... just want to convert the audio and re-mux.

    Avi_gain_regular.bat will create CBR audio
