Help with frameserving!

I'm using the avisynth 1beta31 plugin to frameserve a clip from Adobe Premiere 6.0 to Tmpgenc 2.02. When I try to open part0.avs I get the error "C:\part0.avs cannot open or unsupported". The clip opens fine if I export it as an avi and the open the file from the hard drive, but it won't open if I am frameserving. I've had no problem with resolutions of 352x240 but this clip is 480x480, would that make a difference?
