    Hi,

I am attempting to transcode DVD's to FLV using FFMPEG, and I am unable to copy a chosen subtitle over to the output file. The FFMPEG docs on this are minimal. I have searched this site for some information, but alas I have not been able to succeed. Is it even possible to transcode from a DVD to FLV with a chosen subtitle? I am using Vob2Mpg to convert the DVD to one usable MPG file. As far as my understanding of VOB files is, the subtitles are stored in the VOB. If I have to use an intermediary application before I use FFMPEG, that's fine. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Yoav

The subtitles are stored as images in the vob files. So to change font you must first OCR them to text using for example subrip.

But I don't know how to add it using ffmpeg, maybe easiest with an avisynth script using a subtitle filter and encode with ffmpeg.
