  1. I pulled a 23.97 frame rate video off of a DVD and VIrtualDub-MPEG2 1.6.15 tells me it's 29.97. I was able to correct this by turning off some kind of flag that vdub uses before and it was all good. But now......for the life of me I cannot figure it out.

Could someone be so kind as to walk me through that and how to turn it off so that vdub sees and processes it as it was meant to be.....23.97

    Thanks guys.

I really need to stop drinking and editing. lol

  3. My problems is that when I use VIrtualDub-MPEG2 1.6.15 it doesnt change it. It remains 29 fps. But I went back to and earlier versions and that seems to treat it just fine as far as I can tell.

Thank you for your help and any other ideas you might have.

  4. I have 1.6.15 too. The settings works for me. With the option enabled opening a VOB reports 29.97 fps and you can see comb artifacts. With the option disabled opening a VOB reports 23.976 fps and there are no comb artifacts.
