I have demuxed an ogm file so i can watch the files as an avi. The ogm to avi extraction was successful; however the problem is with the subtitles. I got an .srt file, and when I play the video with the subtitles i have two sets of subtitles playing. One of them plays within the video, and the other outside the video frame. How can I fix this ?? I tried to convert the file to ssa but the same problem persists. I am not familiar with all functions of ssa, which is what I am using to edit the subs.
I have attached the image of the problem.

    thanx

That can happen when both your player software and, say, ffdshow or VobSub are set to display the subtitles. What player are you using? And, do you have ffdshow or (Direct)VobSub installed?
