    Can you convert a 480x480 SVCD to 352x480 SVCD or to VCD for use as a file to burn to DVD? I seee that 480x480 is not a DVD supported format, can I convert this 480x480 SVCD to a suitable DVD format?

    Of course you can down convert the MPEG-2 on a SVCD to some other format... However, you will incur a generational loss of quality.
