    Can anybody help i am getting a Amstrad Sky+ box which i note has usb2.0 connection. Can i record to an external usb HDD then put this HDD on the pc to make a DVD via my PC DVD Writer.

    If so do i have to do something special or can i use DVD Clone or Nero etc

    I don't think that's poss. the only way to get anything off the sky HD is to use a VHS/DVD-Recorder AFAIK.
