Some ifo files contain more cells than chapters. Is there a program that would allow editing out the additional cells so that cell and chapter count is the same. Of course without compramising playback.

Is your DVD dual layer? Cell markers also set up the layer break. Angle changes etc can be aligned
to cell markers. This is all determined at time of authoring. Unless the cell is configured as a
layer break you will not see anything on play back. If there are cell commands recorded in the IFO
for that PGC the disc may instruct your player to navigate back to menus or jump to another location.

Demux your vobs and reauthor your movie allows you to remove them fully.

This removes video content (if you don't mean joining cellsOriginally Posted by Pinstripes23 ). ).

You're right...the remove cells function won't make that part of the VOB playable. I see it can output the celltimes of the chapters only, but then you have to demux --> remux --> replace...etc. I didn't see a join cell function in my version of pgcedit.Originally Posted by Alex_ander
