    Hello,

I'm usually not one to mention spelling or proper sentence structure but that post is really hard to read. Try using some periods. Really I'm not bashing you.

Try to rip the dvd to your hard drive using dvdfabdecrypter.

Shrink to dvd5 size by using dvdshrink or dvdrebuilder.

Burn the resulting files with Imgburn.

dvdfab or ripit4me, then shrink it

shrink is no longer updated, and switching the soundtrack is one of the 'foiling schemes ' used on newer DVD's

A: If fault within media itself , then anything you use will cause picture breakups to appear because of missing data .

No tool can fix that problem .

B: If fault is caused by scratches , then a product called wipeout is the best to fix that problem .

Fix 300+ scratched discs per bottle , and some elbow grease .

    B2 : If B , and lazy , get whats called a skip doctor .

For your PayPerView issues, I am not willing to help in any way as I believe this would qualify as a violation of forum policies. This would qualify as WAREZ.

As to scratches... To clarify, a DVD can be of poor quality, or it can be damaged, or it can be scratched, or it can be dirty, and it will still most often PLAY fine. This is because DVD players have built-in error correction to compensate for even really badly damaged discs. Also, computer software which plays DVDs has this same sort of error correction. So, you can have a badly damaged disc (where the scrtaches may not be visible to your naked eye), and the disc may PLAY fine. But, when you try to use a ripping program to rip the thing, most of these will insist that they be able to read each and every tiny bit and byte of information. The slightest flaw often means the disc will lock up.

Also, anytime you are going from a DVDrecorder to a PC, you are aware that you need to finalize the disc, correct?

    Eh..
Don't mind him, he's not a mod, if recording things off tv under the same circumstances/problems you are having was so bad & against the rules there would be a lot of people here getting banned.

    Warez ??
